With a long-standing tradition in the pharmaceutical sector, the Farmácia Sá da Bandeira group combines technical expertise with the trust built up over generations. The design project had two distinct yet complementary objectives: on the one hand, to create the label and packaging for a own-brand ointment; on the other, to structure and design the brand handbook – an essential tool for ensuring consistency in the internal regulations of all pharmacies.

The label and packaging design was conceived to convey trust, clarity and safety — core values in the healthcare context — whilst complying with regulatory standards and promoting the pharmacy’s identity. The brand handbook, meanwhile, was developed based on a functional and user-friendly structure, bringing together visual guidelines, graphic language and best practice in communication, and serving as an internal guide for teams and partners. Furthermore, all texts were carefully crafted to adopt a creative and disruptive tone.
